Der SK Vorwärts Steyr ist ein traditionsreicher österreichischer Fußballverein aus der Stadt Steyr in Oberösterreich. Der Verein wurde als Steyrer Fußballklub Vorwärts 1919 gegründet. Bei BMO ist er seit der Saison 24 vertreten.
Steyr ist mit rd. 38.000 Einwohnern die drittgrößte Stadt Oberösterreichs und die zwölftgrößte Stadt Österreichs. Steyr liegt auf 310 m Höhe und ist am Zusammenfluss von Enns und Steyr an der Grenze zu Niederösterreich im Alpenvorland gelegen. Der Stadtplatz ist eines der besterhaltenen Altstadtensembles im deutschsprachigen Raum. Seit 1979 ist BMW der größte Betrieb in Steyr. Hier werden vor allem Benzin- und Dieselmotoren gefertigt.
