Juniorenteam passte. Deshalb ließ Joernie die Frist für Vertragsverlängerungen verstreichen, obwohl sowohl Stickroth als auch Cullmann letztendlich mit ihren Mannschaften ihre Saisonziele erreichten. Thomas Stickroths erste Stelle als Profitrainer war dann auch gleich eine Sensation: er übernahm den aktuellen deutschen Meister VfL Osnabrück! | ||

In der Trainerfrage hatte sich Joernie in Saison 50 lange Zeit bedeckt gehalten. Das galt insbesondere für den Amateur- und Juniorenbereich. Dort hatten die Teams sehr anspruchsvolle Saisonziele und deshalb zögerte Salzburgs Manager sehr lange mit einer etwaigen Vertragsverlängerung.
