Spieler können auf zwei Arten abgewertet werden:
Formbedingte Abwertung

Altersabwertung
Da in der Realität bei den meisten Spielern die Leistungsfähigkeit mit zunehmendem Alter abnimmt, erfolgt für ältere Spieler aller Positionen unabhängig von der Formauswertung eine Altersabwertung um einen Stärkepunkt. Dies geschieht erstmals im Saisonübergang von 31 auf 32 Jahren und dann in jedem folgenden. Aufgrund des Alters abgewertete Spieler erhalten im Gegenzug keine 50 Formpunkte gutgeschrieben.
