Ethnikos Asteras (griechisch: ΕΘΝΙΚΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ)
Ethnikos Asteras ist ein Verein aus der griechischen Hauptstadt Athen.
Er ist bereits seit Anfang der Saison 12 in der Ethniki Katigoria beim BMO.
Die Vereinsfarben sind rot-weiß.
Die Profimannschaft:
Die Profimannschaft des Vereines war seit Gründung der griechischen Liga stärkemäßig immer im Mittelfeld einzuordnen. Die beste Platzierung der Mannschaft gelang in Saison 13, in der man den 3. Tabellenplatz erreichte und damit sogar in den EC einzog. Danach kam aber direkt die Ernüchterung. In Saison 14 reichte es noch für den 10. Tabellenplatz, in Saison 15 schrammte man mit dem 15. Tabellenplatz gerade so noch am Abstieg vorbei. In Saison 16 und 17 konnte man sich aber wieder im Mittelfeld festigen. Mit Saison 18 übernahm Heijura wieder das Führungsruder. Für die Profimannschaft hieß das aber gleichzeitig Abstiegskampf von Beginn an, doch auch diesmal konnte man den Klassenerhalt als 14. erreichen.
Das Prunkstück des Vereines ist/war wohl sein Jugendteam.
Nach der Vizemeisterschaft in Saison 14 unter dem Manager xitzi, konnte Heijura die Früchte ernten und in Saison 15 mit 10 Punkten Abstand auf den Zweitplatzierten die Jugendmeisterschaft gewinnen. Trotz der Abgänge der Leistungsträger in die neue Amateurmannschaft konnte das Jugendteam in Saison 16 noch einmal die Vizemeisterschaft erreichen. In Saison 17 - ohne die bisherigen Erfolgsmanager xitzi und Heijura - folgte aus unerklärlichen Gründen der Absturz des Jugendteams - Abstieg in die 2. Jugendliga. In Saison 18 konnte unter Heijura der direkt Wiederaufstieg erreicht werden.
Das in Saison 16 gegründete Amateurteam erreichte in seiner Debutsaison auf Anhieb den 5. Platz. In Saison 17 erreichte das Team den 9. Platz. In Saison 18 konnte sich das Team nochmals steigern und wurde überraschend Vizemeister.
