Die Turkcell Süper Lig ist die höchste Spielklasse in der Türkei. Die türkische Meisterschaft wird zum 23. Mal durchgeführt und von zwanzig Mannschaften bestritten wird. Titelverteidiger in dieser Saison ist Istanbulspor.
Liga-Modus
In dieser Saison, werden wie in der letzten Saison zwanzig Teams antreten und dabei in 38 Spielrunden den Meistertitel unter sich ausmachen. Jede Mannschaft spielt einmal Zuhause und Auswärts gegen jedes anderes Team.
Der Meister zum Ende der Saison, qualifiziert sich für die Europaliga, die Teams auf den Plätzen zwei bis fünf, sowie der türkische Pokalsieger werden am Europacup teilnehmen. Wird der Pokalsieger zum Ende der Saison Meister oder qualifiziert sich per Endtabelle international, bekommt der Pokal-Final-Verlierer den Platz für den Europacup. Sollten beide Teams sich per Liga international qualifizieren, rückt in der Ligabtabelle dass nächst bessere Team in den Europacup ein.
