Der Deutsche Pokal U19 ist der zur Saison 60 neu gegründeten Jugendpokal des Landesverbands Deutschland. Startberechtigt sind insgesamt 64 Vereine, nämlich die 18 Vereine der 1. Junioren-Bundesliga, die 18 Vereine der 2. Junioren-Bundesliga und die 18 Vereine der 3. Junioren-Bundesliga, ergänzt durch 10 Klubs, die aktuell nicht mehr am Spielbetrieb teilnehmen.
Spielmodus
Gespielt wird im KO-System in sechs Runden: 1. Runde - 2. Runde - Achtelfinale - Viertelfinale - Halbfinale - Finale. Der Sieger wird jeweils in einem Spiel ermittelt, das ggf. verlängert wird. Fällt auch in der Verlängerung keine Entscheidung, folgt ein Elfmeterschießen.
Das Finale findet abwechselnd in verschiedenen deutschen Städten statt.
Das Torkonto enthält zu Beginn des Wettbewerbs bei Erstligisten sechs, bei Zweitligisten fünf und bei Drittligisten vier Tore. Nach dem Viertelfinale wird es um vier Tore aufgestockt.
