Momentan ist Basti Manager beim VfL Wolfsburg und Ligaleiter von England.

Wie kam ich zum BMO:
Eigentlich ist es eine ganz gewöhnliche Geschichte. Meine Cousins B12345 (erster und längster Manager von Juventus), Maxl (früher lange Zeit bei Piacenza) und P1234 (Galatasaray Istanbul) sprachen oftmals über ein Fußball-Manager-Spiel, welches im Internet stattfinden würde. Da ich ein sehr großer Fußballfan bin, fragte ich oft nach, wie das funktioniert. Nach einiger Zeit meldete ich mich an und dachte anfangs nicht, dass der BMO auch noch Jahre später so viel Spaß macht und jemanden so fesselt. Von Zeit zu Zeit entwickelte ich immer mehr Spaß am Managerspiel. Das zeigte ich dadurch, dass ich für die Zeitung sehr, sehr viele Artikel schrieb und einige Saisons später den Basti-Cup veranstaltete. Der LL-Job folgte kurz darauf.

Basti und die Zeitung:
Schnell entwickelte ich Freude am Schreiben von Artikeln und fand, dass es sich schöner lesen lässt, wenn ein klein wenig Bezug zu den verschiedenen Artikeln entsteht. Darum schrieb ich verschiedene "Serien". Training mit Bongartz sind z.B. von eher kindlichen Humor geprägt, währenddessen bei "Delling und Netzer" eine große Steigerung erfolgte:

Bis heute: Netzer & Delling mit Daniel
Basti als Offizieller:
Saison 12 und zu Beginn der Saison 13 war ich NLL (Nachwuchsligaleiter) in Italien, Türkei und Frankreich. Vom Papier her war Inkoeln in Saison 13 der Ligaleiter. Nach und nach durfte ich aber die Liga leiten. Inkoeln stand mir hilfreich zur Seite. Von Saison 13 bis 16 war ich Ligaleiter von Frankreich. Seit Saison 17 bin ich LL von England.
