Der FC Utrecht ist der größte Fußballclub aus niederländische Stadt Utrecht. Zur Zeit spielt der FC in der höchsten Spielklasse des Benelux-Länderverbundes. Die Heimspiele trägt der Club im städtischen Stadion Galgenwaard am Ostrand der Stadt aus.

Geschichte
Die Zeit bis zur Saison 7
In der Geschichte des FC Utrecht gibt es ein dunkles Kapitel, der Abstieg in Saison 3 aus der Ehrendivision Benelux. Aus dieser Zeit ist nur noch überliefert, das der Manager damals Mainz-Man war. Ansonsten ist leider nichts bekannt. Weder wann der Verein tatsächlich gegründet worden ist, noch was aus diesem geworden ist. Der Verein ist sehr bemüht diese historischen Abschnitte mit leben zu füllen, aber selbst die letzten Zeitzeugen können sich kaum an den FC Utrecht von damals erinnern.
Die Zeit ab Saison 7
Zur Saison 7 ist taucht der FC Utrecht wieder aus der Versenkung auf. Mit und durch den heute noch tätigen Manager Schwarzes Schaf wurde der Verein mit neuem Leben gefüllt. Der damals unbekannte Manager stellte Trainer D`Onofrio ein, mit Ihm zusammen wurde eine schlagkräftige Mannschaft für die 2.Ehrendivison verpflichtet. Der Neustart des FC Utrecht.

Seit der Saison 7, also seit Wiederaufnahme des Spielbetriebs beim FC spielt der Club auch wieder im Pokal mit, allerdings eher mit durchwachsendem Erfolg. Das Beste Ergebnis konnte in Saison 12 mit dem erreichen des Finales erreicht werden.

Jugendabteilung
Die Jugendabteilung des FC Utrecht wurde zur Saison 12 gegründet. Direkt in der ersten Saison konnte mit dem 8. Tabellenplatz die Qualifikation für die 1. Divisie von de Jongetj geschafft werden. Im ersten Spieljahr unter den 16 besten Jugendmannschaften konnte erneut der 8.Platz belegt werden. In Saison 14 konnte der Nachwuchs zwar nicht die Punktzahl aus dem Vorjahr hohlen, allerdings reichten 47. Punkte um den 6. Tabellenplatz zu belegen.
