| - | Der Diamond Cup hat den Modus der NHL, und wird mit 24 Teilnehmern an den Start gehen. | ||

| - | Der Diamond Cup besteht aus einer Vorrunde und den genannten Final-Round wo dann der Sieger des Turniers ermittelt wird. | ||

| - | Die Vorrunde des Diamond Cup wird in zwei Divisionen aufgeteilt,wobei jede einzelne Division wieder aufgeteilt ist in zwei Gruppen. | ||

| - | Jeder in der Division spielt einmal gegen jeden in seiner Division. ( 11 Spiele a 2-2-2-2-3 Tats) | ||

| - | Die jeweiligen erst- und zweit Plazierten Teams kommen ins Achtelfinale, sowie die besten vier Teams jeder Division mit den meisten Punkten oder besseren Differenz ziehen eine Runde weiter. | ||
