Die Saison 40 begann am 03.02.2014 und endete am ??? mit dem Saisonübergang zu Saison 41. Der erste Liga-TAT wurde am 22.02.2014 ausgespielt.

Verschieben von Spielern
Bisher konnten nur Spieler bis zur maximalen Stärke 6 aus dem Profi- oder Jugendkader in den Amateurkader verschoben werden. Diese Grenze wurde mit Wirkung ab der Saison 41 um einen Punkt auf Stärke 7 erhöht.

Jubiläumstrainingslager
40 Saisons BMO - mehr als 12 Jahre Spielbetrieb. Aus diesem Anlass spendierten die Administratoren ein kostenfreies Trainingslager ohne Verletzte für alle Mannschaften. Das Trainigslager fand am 05.04.2014 unmittelbar nach TAT 7 statt.
