Fürth ist das BMO-Pendant zum realen Verein SpVgg Greuther Fürth welcher zur Zeit in der 2. Bundesliga spielt. Bei BMO war der Verein von Saison 5 bis Saison 58 aktiv. Zur Saison 64 wurde der Verein reaktiviert.

5 Saisons nahm der Verein nicht am Ligenbetrieb teil. Zur Saison 64 wechselte Manager Bernie zu seinem Lieblingsverein. Der aktuell in Erlangen wohnhafte Manager hat sich damit einen Traum erfüllt. Zuletzt war er in Irland, bei Athlone Town erfolgreich am managen.

Die Pokalsaison endete erwartungsgemäß bei Profis und Jugend schon in der 1.Runde. Als 3.Ligist benötigt man schon etwas Losglück, dass hatte man leider nicht. Die Profis verloren gegen Zweitligist Hannover nach großem Kampf mit 3:5. Man merkte dem Team an, dass es neu zusammengestellt ist und sich erst noch einspielen muss.
Die Jugend verlor erst im Elfmeterschießen. Gegen Ligakonkurrent Chemnitzer FC versuchte man alles, hatte am Ende aber nicht das Glück auf seiner Seite.
Nun können sich beide Vereine auf die Liga konzentrieren.
