Die Deutsche Amateurliga ist die höchste Spielklasse im deutschen Fußball in der Amateurmannschaften antreten und ist seit Saison 12 im BMO vertreten. In dieser Liga spielen ausschließlich Amateurmannschaften.
Jeder Verein der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der Liga an. Die Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen wird Amateurmeister. Aus der Amateurliga steigen z.Zt. die letzten vier Mannschaften theoretisch ab, da es jedoch keine niedrigere Spielklasse für Amateurteams gibt hat dies keine Konsequenzen.
Amateurmeister
Seit Saison 12 wird der Amateurmeister in der Deutschen Amateurliga ausgespielt. Ein gleichnamiger Titel wurde bereits in den Saisons 9 bis 11 in der Regionalliga, sowie in den Saisons 6 und 7 in der Oberliga ausgespielt. Ein Titelträger für Saison 8 ist nicht in den Statistiken vermerkt. Theoretisch wären dies jedoch die Amateure Kaiserslauterns gewesen, welche den ersten Platz der Regionalliga errangen und damit das höchstplatzierte Amateurteam dieser Saison waren. Dieser Titel konnte von folgenden Mannschaften errungen werden:

Rekordmeister ist Magdeburg (Am) mit zwei gewonnenen Amateurmeisterschaften. Rechnet man die theoretische Amateurmeisterschaft (in der Regionalliga) der Saison 8 hinzu, so wäre auch Kaiserslautern zu nennen.
Absteiger
Die Mannschaften, die am Ende der Saison auf den Plätzen 19 bis 22 stehen, steigen seit theoretisch ab (treten aber in der Folgesaison wieder in der Amateurliga an). Folgende Mannschaften sind bisher abgestiegen:
