Der Verein
Stabaek IF, ein Traditionsverein der Skandinavia 2, war lange als Managergrab bekannt. Dementsprechend findet sich das Team seit einigen Saisons regelmäßig im Keller der Liga wieder. Mit dem aktuellen Manager Adam West ist zwar noch nicht wieder der große Erfolg eingekehrt. Durch den kontinuierlichen Aufbau der Jugend hat West außerdem für einen Umbruch in der Mannschaft und für Aufbruchsstimmung bei den Fans gesorgt. Im Zuge dieses Umbruchs wurde zur Saison 30 eine Amateurabteilung gegründet.
