Lugsnik wurde unter dem bürgerlichen Namen Michael 1980 in Rodewisch (Vogtland) geboren. Nach beruflichen Stationen in Sachsen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hessen und Nordrhein-Westfalen lebt er seit 2007 im fränkischen Fürth. Bereits seit seiner Kindheit fussballbegeistert, dauerte es nicht lange, bis er sich im "Ronhof" (heute offiziell: Trolli Arena) einfand und fortan der Spvgg Greuther Fürth die Daumen drückte.
Sein Lieblingsreiseland ist die Republik Irland, für welche er auch gerne in diversen anderen (Online-) Spielen antritt.
Einstieg bei Bundesliga Manager Online
Im Februar 2012 entdeckte er durch die Werbung auf einer anderen Seite Bulimao und stieg zur "Winterpause" der Saison 32 als Manager bei den Bohemians Dublin ein. Diese lagen zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits auf einem Aufstiegsplatz und wurden von Lugsnik auch souverän ins Oberhaus Irlands geführt. In die Premier Division ging Lugsnik jedoch nicht mit, sondern wechselte zur 33. Saison zum Zweitligisten Limerick FC, um mit dem sympatischen Club aus dem Südwesten der Insel den dritten Aufstieg der Vereinsgeschichte anzugehen. Unmittelbar nach seinem Wechsel nach Limerick, traten die "Blue Lions" in der Neuauflage des Sommerturniers "Irish Drinking Cup" an, wo man sich im Finale gegen den Zweitligisten Dublin City mit 3:1 durchsetzte und damit den ersten Titel der Vereinsgeschichte holte.
Nach zwei Saisons, die mehr oder weniger als "Lehrjahre" bezeichnet werden dürfen, wurde die kontinuierliche Arbeit Lugsniks in Saison 35 mit dem Triple aus Zweitligameisterschaft (und damit der Erstligaaufstieg), Amateurmeisterschaft und Jugendmeisterschaft belohnt. Als Krönung für diese Leistung wählten Ihn die Managerkollegen Irlands zum Manager des Jahres der grünen Insel. Bei der darauffolgenden Wahl zum Manager des Jahres weltweit belegte er hinter dem EC-Sieger Bravo einen sensationellen zweiten Platz.
