Der Johan Cruijff Prijs wird seit der Saison 82 in Gold, Silber und Bronze an die besten niederländischen Nachwuchsspieler des Jahres verliehen. Maßgebend ist jeweils die Stärke und Form nach der Formauswertung an TAT 8. Mit der Namensgebung des Preises wird an den berühmten, 2016 verstorbenen Spieler der holländischen Nationalmannschaft erinnert, der mit seinem Modell von offensivem Ballbesitzfußball auch als Trainer Weltgeltung erlangte.
