Marco Betis ist ein luxemburgischer Stürmer der Stärke 8. Er hat kein reales Vorbild als Fußballer.
Nach seiner fußballerischen Ausbildung bei Feyenoord Rotterdam wechselte Betis in der Saison 10 zum FC Porto. Weil er zunächst keine Chance hatte, bei den Profis Spielpraxis zu erwerben, wurde er in der Saison 11 für ein Jahr an den damaligen Ligue 2-Verein Olympique Ales verliehen, mit dem Betis den Aufstieg in die Ligue 1 schaffte. Zurück aus Frankreich musste sich Betis erst einmal als Ergänzungsspieler bewähren, ließ dabei aber bereits seine Torgefährlichkeit aufblitzen. In der zweiten Hälfte der Saison 14 gelang ihm dann der Durchbruch zum Stammspieler. In der Saison 15 war er sogar der am meisten eingesetzte Spieler des FC Porto. In der darauf folgenden Saison gab es dann jedoch aufgrund mehrerer Verletzungen einen kleinen Rückschlag. Marco Betis behauptete zwar seinen Stammplatz beim FC Porto, an seine starken Leistungen der Saison 15 konnte er aber nicht mehr anknüpfen.
Für die luxemburgische Nationalmannschaft ist Marco Betis bisher 4-mal aufgelaufen (3 Tore).
