Die Saison 53 begann am 26.09.2017 und endete am ??? mit dem Saisonübergang zu Saison 54. Der erste Liga-TAT wurde am ??? ausgespielt.

Neuerungen
Training
Zum Beginn der Saison 53 wurden die Trainingswirkungen verändert:
- Leichtes Training
Verletzung: 1% (vorher 3%) Verletzung max (pro Kader): 5% Verletzungswochen: max. 2 Formgewinn: -2,6 (vorher -2,1)
- Mittleres Training
Verletzung: 4% (vorher 6%) Verletzung max (pro Kader): 10% Verletzungswochen: max. 3 Formgewinn: -0,7 (vorher -0,2)
- Hartes Training
Verletzung: 9% (vorher 10%) Verletzung max (pro Kader): 20 % Verletzungswochen: max. 5 Formgewinn: 2,0 (vorher 2,5)
Verträge
Ein Vertrag (ohne Unterschrift) wird 10 Tage (bisher 14 Tage) lang gültig sein.
Die erste Unterschrift unter dem Vertrag ist nun 4 Tage (bisher 7 Tage) lang gültig.
Jugendabteilung
Ab Saison 53 ändert sich hier Folgendes:
- Beim Scouten wird die Talentstufe 6 in 7 geändert.
- Das Alter der gescouteten Jugendspieler beträgt 15 Jahre (bisher 17).
- Die Jugendspieler können im Alter von 18 oder 19 Jahren zu den Profis oder den Amateuren hochgezogen werden (bisher 20 bis 21 Jahre).
- Der Formgewinn bzw. Formverlust durch Spielpraxis ändert sich bei den Jugendspielern auf +2/-3 (bisher +3/-3).
Sonderregelung für Saison 53:
Jeder Verein kann in dieser Saison 15 Spieler scouten (15 bis 17 Jahre, jeweils 5 Spieler pro Jahrgang) und bis zu 20 Spieler hochziehen (18 bis 21 Jahre). Zur Saison 54 wird diese Sonderregelung wieder aufgehoben.
Diese Maßnahme dient der Vorbereitung einer Erweiterung des Jugendbereichs, die im Detail noch nicht feststeht.
