Neuerungen
Zu Beginn der 9. Saison stellte sich heraus, dass der Saisonübergang von Saison 8 auf Saison 9 etwas zu lange gedauert hatte und so ein relativ hoher Anteil an Managern das Spiel verließ. Aus diesem Grund wurde ein Teil der zweiten Ligen (Türkei, Portugal und Schottland) vorübergehend geschlossen um somit die Managerdichte in den anderen Ligen zu erhöhen. Desweiteren wurde eine kleine Werbeoffensive gestartet um die Ligen spätestens zur nächsten Saison wieder zu besetzen.
Zum ersten Mal wurden die Zeitungsartikel des TATs und der Saison gewählt. Weiterhin wurde die Organisation der Ligenverwaltung, der Multisuche und des Zeitungsbereiches überarbeitet und somit effektiver gemacht.
Ein Serverwechsel wurde vollzogen, da die Zusammenarbeit mit Rainer Unsinn (der den Server seiner Firma bisher freundlicherweise zur Verfügung stellte) nicht mehr so fortgeführt werden konnte wie bisher. Der neue Server wird durch Ratsmitglieder- und Managerspenden finanziert (weitere Spenden sind immer willkommen >> Kuma), da der BMO werbefrei bleiben soll.
Zum Ende der Saison wurden zwei weitere Ligen geplant, die Osteuropa- und die Skandinavische-Liga. Mit der WM und einigen Überbrückungsturnieren wurde verhindert, dass es während dem nun von D_Lex um einiges schneller durchgefürte Saisonübergang wieder zu einem hohen Managerschwund kam.
Ereignisse
D-Lehm kam als Manager ganz und als DB-Admin für eine Saison zurück um das BMO-Team kräftig zu unterstützen. Zusätzlich wurden mit Sascha Heusel (bekannt als Sanscho) und Michael Rothmann (Rothi) zwei neue DB-Admins eingestellt um eine Entlastung der Admins/Programmierer zu erreichen. Damit bestand der Adminbereich der Manager nun aus 6 Personen (D_Lex, Kuma, Lex, Rothi, Sanscho, Victorolosaurus)
Im Laufe der Saison kam es zum Fall Gamecruiser/Pimsen.
