Der FC Kopenhagen (dänisch FC København, kurz: FCK) ist ein dänischer Sportverein aus Kopenhagen. Der Klub wurde erst 1992 unter dem Motto (Motto: Gør drenge til mænd – og mænd til drenge, zu deutsch: „Mach Jungen zu Männern – und Männer zu Jungen“) gegründet.

Die Kommune Kopenhagen (Københavns Kommune) hat 632.340 Einwohner, die Hauptstadt im formalen Sinne (bestehend aus den Kommunen Kopenhagen, Frederiksberg und Gentofte) 811.475 Einwohner. Kopenhagen ist Teil der dänischen Verwaltungsregion Region Hovedstaden und der binationalen Metropolregion Öresundregion. Die Stadt gilt als eine der Städte mit der größten Lebensqualität weltweit. In der Städteplatzierung des Beratungsunternehmens Mercer belegte sie im Jahr 2018 unter 231 Großstädten weltweit den achten Platz in dieser Rubrik.
