Die Teamstärke verminderte sich so zum vierten Mal in Folge auf nun 109,5 (-1). Diese anhaltend negative Entwicklung wirkte sich auch national aus. Der FC Porto war fortan nicht mehr die nominelle Nummer zwei hinter dem FC Vitoria Setubal (aktuell Stärke 116,0).
