Das reale Vorbild
Die WSG Swarovski Wattens wurde im Jahre 1930 gegründet und hat seitdem bewegte und vor allem erfolgreiche Jahre hinter sich. So konnten in der Vergangenheit mehrere Meistertitel im Wattener Alpenstadion gefeiert werden. Weiters schafften immer wieder Spieler der WSG den Sprung in den Bundesligakader von unserem Kooperationspartner FC Wacker Tirol, wie z.B. Roland Kirchler oder Robert Wazinger, welche sogar zu Teamehren kamen. Es ist also nicht überheblich zu sagen, daß die WSG Swarovski Wattens eine ganz wichtige „Institution“ im Tiroler Fußball darstellt. Die Mannschaft der WSG Swarovski Wattens besteht zum Großteil aus jungen Talenten aus der Region Tirol – ergänzt mit ehemaligen Tiroler Bundesligaprofis – die zu einem technisch und taktisch versierten bzw. zweikampfstarken Kollektiv heranwächst. Das mittel- bis langfristige Ziel (2-3 Jahre) unseres Vereins ist der Aufstieg in die Red Zac Erste Liga. Grundlage dafür ist die kontinuierliche und zielgerichtete Entwicklung in allen Bereichen des Vereins sowie die Etablierung einer gesunden wirtschaftlichen Basis.
