Die Airtricity Mini League 2 ist die zweithöchste Spielklasse im irische Jugendfußball und seit der Saison 16 in das BMO-Universum integriert. Bis zum Ende der Saison 29 hieß die Airtricity Mini League 2, Ericom Mini League 2.
Die Ericom Mini League 1 startete in der Saison 16 mit 10 Mannschaften. In der Saison 24 wurde die Liga auf 12 Mannschaften aufgestockt.
Jeder Verein der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der 2. Liga an. Die ersten drei Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen steigen in die 1. irische Jugendliga auf. Aus der Airtricity Mini League 2 steigen die letzten zwei Mannschaften ab, wobei diese nicht wirklich absteigen, da es die niedrigste Profiklasse in Irland ist. Die Anzahl der Auf- und Absteiger variiert nach Anzahl der Vereine in der Airtricity Mini League 2.
