Das Tore setzen ist der Hauptbestandteil des Spielgeschehens und muss spätestens bis zum TAT geschehen sein. Sollte dies nicht eintreten droht der Verlust des Vereins (siehe NMR). Es muss grundsätzliche für alle Abteilungen eines Vereins gesetzt werden. Beim Tore setzen geht es vor allem darum den Gegner richtig einzuschätzen, um dann mit möglicht wenig gesetzten Toren, möglicht viele Punkte einzufahren. Wichtig für einen guten Tipp ist das beachten des Setzverhaltens der Gegner und primär die jeweiligen Chancen auf ein bzw. zwei FTCP-Tore.
Abgesehn vom Tore setzen in der WM-Edition, geschieht das Tippen immer über Member Bereich/ Vereinsbereich/ Tore setzen.

Zu beginn der Saison erhält jeder Verein ein Torkonto von 35 Heimtoren und 25 Auswärtstoren, welche entsprechend dem Saisonziel taktisch über die Saison verteilt, gesetzt werden sollten. Durch das erhalten von Bonustoren kann das Torkonto wieder minimal aufgestockt werden. Bei jedem Tipp ist unbedingt die Chance auf FTCP-Tore und Bonustore zu beachten, welche natürlich auch das Setzverhalten des Gegners beeinflusst. Der maximale Tipp für ein Spiel ist fünf.
im nationalen Pokal
Abhängig von der Ligenebene gibt es im nationalen Pokal eine unterschiedliche Anzahl von Toren (Allerdings keine Trennung zwischen Heim- und Auswärtskonten) und auch die FTCP-Regeln weichen von denen in der Liga ab. Hier ist unbedingt das Torkonto des Gegners für den eigenen Tipp ausschlaggebend. Ein weiterer Unterschied im Pokal ist die möglichkeit für eine eventuelle Nachspielzeit zu setzen. D.h. wenn man einen schwächerer Gegner mit einem kleineren Torkonto als Gegner hat, bspw. vier zu fünf Toren so kann man vier Tore in der regulären Spielzeit setzen und eins in der Nachspielzeit. Sollte dann das erhoffte FTCP-Tor nicht fallen geht das Spiel mit einem Stand von vier zu vier (sofern der Gegner vier Tore gesetzt hat) in die Verlängerung. Das gesetzte Tor wird hier fallen und man ist trotz FTCP Pechs weiter.
Im Pokal wird das Torkonto nach einer vorher bestimmten Anzahl von Runden welche von Land zu Land variieren wieder aufgestockt.

In der WM Edition werden die Tore über BMO WM Edition unter dem Menüpunkt Tore setzen gesetzt.
