Graf Zahl ist seit Saison 14 beim BMO. Sein aktueller Managerlevel ist 10.
Als erstes Team managte er Wattenscheid (Saison 14-16). Kurz vor Ende der Saison 16 wechselte er zu Olympique Lyon. Seine größten sportlichen Erfolge sind der Aufstieg mit Wattenscheid in die 2. Bundesliga (Saison 15) sowie mit Olympique Lyon in Ligue 1 (Saison 17 und Saison 19). In Saison 18 erreichte er das Finale des Coupe de France. In Saison 20 errang er als Aufsteiger die Meisterschaft in der 1. Ligue National (18 ans). In Saison 21 gelang es ihm erstmals, sich für einen europäischen Wettbewerb zu qualifizieren: Olympique Lyon wurde 4. und startet im Europa-Cup.
In den Saisons 14 und 15 trainierte er die U21-Nationalmannschaft Venezuelas. In Saison 16 nahm er mit der Nationalmannschaft Dänemarks an der Europameisterschaft teil. Zwischen Saison 17 und Saison 19 trainiert er die U17-Nationalmannschaft Italiens. Seit Saison 20 ist er Chef der Nationalmannschaft Italiens, mit der auf Anhieb die Europameisterschaft gewann.
Erfolge
Vereinsmannschaften
- Saison 15: Regionalliga-Meister und Aufstieg mit den Profis von Wattenscheid in die 2. Bundesliga. Dabei wurden einige Vereinsrekorde aufgestellt: Der höchste Heimsieg aller Zeiten (7:0 gegen Essen; damit wurde auch der Ligarekord eingestellt), die meisten Heimsiege in Folge (18), die längste Serie ohne Heimniederlage (19), die meisten Punkte (75), die meisten Saisonsiege (24), die wenigsten Saison-Unentschieden (3) und -Niederlagen (7), die beste Tordifferenz (+44), Einstellen des bisherigen Torrekords (105).
- Saison 17: Aufstieg mit den Profis von Olympique Lyon in Ligue 1. Meister der 2. Ligue National (18 ans) und Aufstieg mit der Jugend von Olympique Lyon in 1. Ligue National (18 ans). Aus technischen Gründen wurde das Jugend-Team ebenso wie die Jugend des RC Lens wieder in die 2. Ligue National (18 ans) zurückversetzt.
- Saison 18: Die Profis stehen im Finale um den Coupe de France, das leider gegen ES Troyes mit 0:1 verloren geht.
- Saison 19: Aufstieg der Profis und der Jugend - jeweils als Meister ihrer Ligen.
- Saison 20: Meisterschaft mit der Jugend von Olympique Lyon.
- Saison 21: Olympique Lyon erkämpft sich die beste Platzierung seit Saison 9. Das Team, das nur zu den mittelstarken Mannschaften der Liga zählt, steht an 16 von 38 Spieltagen auf Platz 1, wird am Ende 4. und zieht damit direkt in den Europa-Cup ein. Zudem gelingt den Amateuren die Zweitligameisterschaft - und damit der Aufstieg in das Championnat d'Amateur Ligue 1. Die Jugend von Olympique Lyon (im Vorjahr noch Meister) wird diesmal "nur" 2. - und das obwohl mehr Punkte gesammelt wurden als im Meisterschaftsjahr.
