Holpriger Start beim FC Lorient
Mit 14 Jahren erkannten die Scouts vom FC Lorient das Talent von Ahmed Reza Beloufa. Doch nach anfänglichem Lob über sein großes Talent, geriet die Entwicklung von Reza Beloufa ins Stocken. Ohne eine einzige Aufwertung verließ er die Jugendmannschaften des FC Lorient. Im Alter von 19 Jahren kam dann der Abschied. Manager Phil Ivey wollte dem jungen Torhüter bei Monaghan United eine Chance geben. Steven_Storm war froh, wenigstens noch eine halbe Million als Ablöse bekommen zu haben und sich Reza Beloufa ziehen.
Monaghan United (Saison 21 bis 24)
Bei Monaghan United lief die Entwicklung für Ahmed Reza Beloufa besser. Gleich in Saison 21 erfolgte die erste Aufwertung, in Saison 23 kamen gleich 2 Aufwertungen hinzu. Trotzdem trennten sich die Wege von Monaghan United und Ahmed Reza Beloufa Anfang der Saison 24. Für 2 Mio € ging es zurück in die Heimat zu AS Saint Etienne.
AS Saint Etienne (Saison 24 bis 26)
Beim AS Saint Etienne konnte Ahmed Reza Beloufa den nächsten Entwicklungsschritt hinter sich bringen. In Saison 25 kam eine weitere Aufwertung hinzu. Stärke 5 hatte Reza Beloufa mittlerweile erreicht. Doch für einen echten Profispieler war das natürlich zu wenig. In Saison 26 wurde er zur Versteigerung freigegeben. Letztlich überwies PAOK Saloniki 3,12 Mio € für Reza Beloufa und sicherte sich damit die Dienste eines bis dahin mittelmäßigen Torhütertalents.
PAOK Saloniki und Wigan Athletic (Saison 26 bis 32)
Bei PAOK Saloniki erlebte Reza Beloufa eine gute Zeit und seine Aufwertungen auf die Stärke 6 und 7. Als der Klub mitsamt Manager, Trainerteam und Kader nach England übergesiedelt wurde, war auch Reza Beloufa Teil dieses Umzugs. In Wigan Athletic gehörte er weiterhin zum Kader und wurde regelmäßig zum Saisonende aufgewertet. Ende der Saison 29 hatte er so Stärke 9 erreicht. Seine Entwicklung drohte zu stagnieren und in Saison 32 kam ein Patellasehnenriss und ein Ausfall für 4 Wochen hinzu. Manager Johann2011 dachte erstmals über einen Verkauf nach. Mit Marquinho konnte er sich schließlich auf einen Wechsel einigen. Reza Beloufa und 665.500€ wechselten von Wigan Athletic zu CS Marítimo Funchal und dafür erhielt Wigan Athletic die Transferrechte am 4 Jahre älteren aber eine Stärke besseren Michael Tardif.
CS Marítimo Funchal (seit Saison 33)
Bei CS Marítimo Funchal war Reza Beloufa für den Trainer Philippe Garoche die unumstrittene Nummer eins im Tor. Doch die Fans und auch Teile des Präsidiums hatten da ihre Zweifel. Traditionell war der Torhüterposten vorher bei Marítimo immer sehr gut besetzt gewesen. Doch nun stand ein Keeper mit Stärke 9 und mäßiger Form im Tor. Auch die Trainingsleistungen waren in der Hinrunde zunächst bescheiden. Doch Reza Beloufa erwies sich als erstaunlich konstant im Tor, blieb frei von Verletzungen und trainierte in der Rückrunde deutlich besser, so dass er sich am Ende der Saison in Aufwertungsform befand und zur Überraschung aller am Ende der Saison aufgewertet wurde.
Ab der Saison 34 galt er damit als unangefochtener Stammtorhüter.
