Der OGC Nizza (vollständig: Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice Côte d’Azur) ist ein französischer Fußballverein aus der Stadt Nizza. Er wurde 1904 als Gymnaste Club de Nice gegründet und hatte ab 1908 auch eine Fußballabteilung. 1924 fusionierte Le Gym, wie der Verein auch heute noch genannt wird, mit dem Gallia Football Athlétic Club de Nice und nannte sich fortan O.G.C..
Nizza (französisch Nice [nis]) ist eine Hafenstadt im Südosten Frankreichs in der Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, 30 Kilometer entfernt von der Grenze zu Italien zwischen Cannes und Monaco an der Côte d’Azur am Mittelmeer gelegen. Nizza ist Sitz der Präfektur des Départements Alpes-Maritimes. Zusammen mit 48 weiteren Gemeinden bildet Nizza die Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. Nizza ist mit 343.629 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Januar 2012) die nach Marseille zweitgrößte Stadt der provenzalischen Region PACA und die fünftgrößte Stadt Frankreichs. Die Bevölkerungszahl mit Umland beträgt 930.000 Einwohner.
