Die Saison 28 begann am 08.11.2010 und endete am 07.02.2011 mit dem Saisonübergang zu Saison 29. Der erste Liga-TAT wurde am 27.11.2010 ausgespielt.

Neuerungen
Transfers
Die bisher gültigen Unter- und Obergrenzen von 70% bzw. 135% bei Transfers wurden abgeschafft.
Versteigerungen
Die Versteigerung von Spielern wurde abgeschafft.
Noobschutz
Alle Neulinge werden ab sofort nicht mehr nur 14 Tage vor unmoralischen Angeboten geschützt, sondern drei Monate (d.h. also etwa eine Saison).
Möchte ein Manager mit einem Neuling, der noch im Noobschutz ist, ein Transfergeschäft tätigen, sollten nur Angebote gemacht werden, die der Manager auch selbst annehmen würde.
Transfers mit Neulingen können mit aber auch ohne Strafe zurück gesetzt werden, sofern diese unverhältnismässig sind. Hierüber entscheiden die Richter.
Länder
Aufgrund fehlender Manager wurde Griechenland aus dem BMO-Universum gestrichen. Die griechischen Ligen wurden eingestellt, die Manager, die griechische Vereine hatten, erhielten freie Klubs in anderen Ländern. Um diese Manager nicht zu benachteiligen bzw. bevorzugen, wurden die neuen Vereine mit Spielern derselben Spielstärke und mit demselben Kontostand ausgestattet, wie die aufgelösten griechischen Vereine.
Internationale Wettbewerbe
Die internationalen Wettbewerbe wurde bisher von Raszagal betreut. Dieser wird ab dieser Saison dafür nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen. Neuer Admin für die internationalen Wettbewerbe wird giggyzerocool, sein Stellvertreter wird Bravo sein.
Um den Verdacht von Unregelmäßigkeiten von vornherein zu unterbinden, werden die Auslosungen durch zwei "Losfees", also nicht am Wettbewerb beteiligten Managern, durchgeführt. Außerdem wird es einen unabhängigen Kontrolleur geben, welcher vor Ansetzung der ausgelosten Partien einmal kontrolliert, ob diese so auch korrekt gezogen worden sind.
Kontrolleur und "Losfeen" werden nicht öffentlich bekannt gegeben und werden zur Verschwiegenheit gegenüber Dritten angehalten.
Durch die Einstellung der griechischen Ligen mussten die Qualifikationen für die internationalen Wettbewerbe neu geregelt werden. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde auch der Wettbewerb EC-Qualifikation (auch als UI-Cup bezeichnet) beendet.

Alle Manager werden gebeten, wenn sie in Facebook sind auf diese Seite zu gehen und den "Gefällt mir"-Button zu klicken. Außerdem sollten alle Freunde zur Gruppe BMO eingeladen werden.
