Sehr geehrte Managerinnen und Manager,
sicherlich hat jeder von euch seine ganz eigene Antwort auf die Frage: „Was macht den BMO so besonders?“.
Neben vielen Aspekten die hier eine Rolle spielen gibt es zwei Argumente die seither in den Grundsätzen des BMO verankert sind:
1. Das Spiel ist komplett kostenlos und
2. Die Seiten sind zu 100% werbefrei!
Wir möchten auch in Zukunft an diesen Grundsätzen festhalten, weshalb wir ständig auf die Spenden der Managerinnen und Manager angewiesen sind.
Denn die laufenden Kosten für Serverbetrieb und Ausfallsicherung des Systems können und sollen nicht auf den Schultern einer einzelnen Person oder einer Gruppe von wenigen Funktionären bzw. Managern lasten, denn wir sind eine große Community die gemeinsame Interesse verfolgt.
Wir, die Funktionäre eures Lieblingsspiels, möchten daher die Gelegenheit nutzen und euch darüber informieren welche Möglichkeiten jeder von euch hat um den BMO zu unterstützen bzw. dazu beizutragen, so dass wir noch lange an den oben genannten Grundsätze festhalten können.

Wir, die BMO Funktionäre, möchten jedoch ausdrücklich folgendes betonen:
- Niemand muss sich verpflichtet fühlen unserem Spendenaufruf zu folgen.
- Die Höhe eurer Spende liegt in eurem Ermessen; Wir sind dankbar für jeden Betrag den ihr entbehren könnt.
- Die eingehenden Spenden werden zu 100% in den Betrieb der BMO Serverlandschaft investiert.
- Keiner der für den BMO tätigen Funktionäre wird für seine Arbeit finanziell entlohnt. Die Mitarbeit ist freiwillig und ehrenamtlich. Das gilt für Administratoren, Ligenleiter, Programmierer und alle anderen aktiven Mitarbeiter gleichermaßen.
