Neben dem Tore setzen ist das Training ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Wöchentlichen Arbeit. Nach Möglichkeit sollte jede Woche zumindest leicht trainiert werden, da sonst die Spieler zwar keine Verletzungen davontragen, aber pauschal 4 Formpunkte pro Spieler einbüssen.
Pro Woche ist eine (kostenlose) Trainingseinheit möglich. Dabei hat man die Wahl zwischen drei Stufen. Wird keine davon gewählt, kommt es zu einem Auto-Training, dass keine Verletzten erzeugt, aber die bereits erwähnten negativen Auswirkungen auf die Form hat.

Auswirkungen
Abhängig von verschiedenen Faktoren, ändert sich durch das Training die Form der Spieler.
Zum einen beeinflusst die Art des Trainings den Trainingserfolg. Je härter das Training, desto höher der wahrscheinliche Formgewinn der Spieler, aber auch das Verletzungsrisiko steigt, sowohl bezogen auf Anzahl, als auch auf die Schwere und Länge der Verletzung.
Verletzt sich ein Spieler beim Training, erleidet er einen Formverlust in Abhängigkeit von der Schwere der Verletzung.
Auch das Alter des Spielers spielt eine Rolle. Generell kann gesagt werden, dass jüngere Spieler meist besser trainieren als ältere.
Darüber hinaus hängt der Erfolg des Trainings auch davon ab, wie weit der Spieler noch von seiner individuellen Maximalstärke entfernt ist. Hat er sie schon erreicht, nimmt die Wahrscheinlichkeit für große Formgewinne deutlich ab.
Besonders deutlichen Einfluss auf den Trainingserfolg hat natürlich der Trainer. Dabei kommt es auf das Verhältnis zwischen der Stärke des Trainers und der Stärke der Spieler an. Ein Trainer, der schwächer und gleich stark wie der Spieler ist, hat keinerlei positive Auswirkungen mehr auf den Trainingserfolg dieses Spielers.
Trainingslager
Eine weitere Verbesserung ist durch ein Trainingslager zu erreichen. Allerdings hat das Trainingslager nur Auswirkungen auf den möglichen Formgewinn; die Wahrscheinlichkeit für Verletzungen ändert sich dadurch nicht.
Für jede Abteilung sind pro Saison drei Trainingslager möglich. Die Kosten werden pro Spieler berechnet und hängen von der jeweiligen Ligaebene ab, in der die Mannschaft spielt.
