Allgemeines
Die Alpenliga besteht bereits seit der Gründung des BMOs.
Am Anfang war die Liga noch klein, wuchs aber im Laufe der Jahre immer mehr.
Heute zählt die Alpenliga zu einer der beständigsten Ligen im BMO.
Modus
Jedes der 20 Teams der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der Alpen-Superliga an.
Die Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen wird Alpenliga-Meister.
Aus der Alpen-Superliga steigen die letzten drei Mannschaften in die Alpen-Bundesliga, die zweithöchste Spielklasse, ab.
