Eduard Geyer ist ein deutscher Trainer, der keiner anderen Sprache als des Deutschen mächtig ist. Er kann somit lediglich in Deutschland und der Alpenliga arbeiten. Sein reales Vorbild ist zur Zeit als Trainer und Sportdirektor für den FC Sachsen Leipzig tätig. Der "reale Ede" ist bekannt für Sprüche wie "Manche von den Jungs haben eine Berufsauffassung wie die Nutten von St. Pauli. Die rauchen, saufen und huren rum, gehen morgens um 6 Uhr ins Bett und haben am nächsten Tag ein Spiel." - ein Zitat, welches ihm gerade von St. Pauli Fans wenig Freundschaft eintrug.
Im BMO ist der Name Eduard Geyer insbesondere bekannt durch eine Hauptrolle in der BMO-Soap Gute TATs Schlechte TATs.

Eduard Geyer: Ja, da habe ich es euch gezeigt, was? Damit habt ihr nicht gerechnet!
Kiezkicker: Um ehrlich zu sein war es keine große Überraschung, da ihr Vertrag ja auch auf zwei Saisons ausgelegt war...
Eduard Geyer: Spielen sie hier bloß nicht den Schlauberger!
Kiezkicker: Das Gesicht ihrer Mannschaft hat sich stark verändert. Ihr Toptorjäger Marica ist zu den Profis aufgerückt.
Eduard Geyer: Und?
Kiezkicker: Wird ihnen eine Verteidigung des Meistertitels gelingen?

Eduard Geyer: Das sind alles überbezahlte Luschen. Die haben keine Arbeitsmoral.

Eduard Geyer: (verkneift sich mühsam ein Grinsen) Bin ich nie.
Kiezkicker: Wagen sie trotzdem eine Prognose?
Eduard Geyer: In Ordnung.

Eduard Geyer: Es wird regnen, gegen Mittag kommt es zu Gewitter.
Kiezkicker: Ich hatte mehr an das Abschneiden ihrer Mannschaft in der neuen Saison gedacht.
Eduard Geyer: Ja, dann müssen sie das sagen.
Kiezkicker: Das habe ich ja jetzt. Wo werden also St. Paulis Amateure am Ende der Saison stehen?
Eduard Geyer: Weiß ich nicht. Aber ich muß jetzt weg.
