Karriere

Die Karriere von Georgios Poursanidis begann in Saison 13, als er als 13-jähriger in den Jugendkader von Iraklis Saloniki gescoutet wurde. Schnell füllte er innerhalb des Teams eine Führungsrolle aus. In Saison 16 gewann er erst mit der griechischen U17-Nationalmannschaft die U17-Weltmeisterschaft und wurde anschließend mit Iraklis noch griechischer Jugendmeister.

In Saison 17 wurde er schließlich mit 17 Jahren zu den Amateuren hochgezogen und konnte sich, wie auch in der darauffolgenden Saison 18 für den griechischen Pokal qualifizieren. Zu Beginn von Saison 19 wurde er schließlich zu den Profis hochgezogen, wo er anfangs allerdings noch nicht zum Einsatz kam.
