Allgemeines
Die Alpenliga besteht bereits seit der Gründung des BMOs. Höchste Spielklasse der Alpenliga ist die Alpen-Superliga.
Modus
Jedes der 20 Teams der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der Alpen-Superliga an.
Die Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen wird Alpenliga-Meister.
Aus der Alpen-Superliga steigen die letzten drei Mannschaften in die Alpen-Bundesliga, die zweithöchste Spielklasse, ab.
