Die Bundesliga ist die höchste Spielklasse im deutschen Fußball und ist von Anfang an im BMO vertreten.
Jeder Verein der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der 1. Liga an. Die Mannschaft mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen wird deutscher Meister. Aus der Bundesliga steigen die letzten drei Mannschaften in die zweite Bundesliga ab.

Internationale Qualifikation
Europaliga
Für die Europaliga qualifiziert sich derzeit der deutsche Meister, sowie der Zweit- und der Drittplatzierte.
Europacup
Am Europacup dürfen derzeit diejenigen Vereine teilnehmen, die in der Vorsaison Platz 4 bis 6 der Bundesliga erreicht haben.
Europacup-Qualifikation
Derzeit nimmt lediglich der Siebtplatzierte an der Quali teil.
Aufsteiger
Aus der zweiten Bundesliga steigen seit Saison 2 jede Saison der Zweitligameister sowie der Zweit- und Drittplatzierte in die Bundesliga auf (zunächst nur Meister und Zweitplatzierter). Folgende Mannschaften sind bisher aufgestiegen:
"Rekordaufsteiger" sind Nürnberg und Cottbus, die bereits viermal in die Bundesliga aufgestiegen sind.
Absteiger
Die Mannschaften, die am Ende der Saison auf den Plätzen 16 bis 18 stehen, steigen seit Saison 2 in die zweite Bundesliga ab (zunächst gab es allerdings nur 2 Absteiger). Folgende Mannschaften sind bisher abgestiegen:
"Rekordabsteiger" ist somit Nürnberg, welches sage und schreibe viermal abgestiegen ist.
