Tampere United ist ein finnischer Fußballverein aus Tampere.

Tampere ist eine Großstadt im südwestlichen Finnland. Mit 249.009 Einwohnern ist Tampere die größte Stadt der Region Pirkanmaa und drittgrößte Stadt des Landes. Wegen ihrer vielseitigen Industrie wird sie häufig auch „Manchester des Nordens“ genannt (finnischer Spitzname: Manse). Tampere ist die größte Binnenstadt der Nordischen Länder. Es liegt zwischen zwei Seen, dem Näsijärvi und dem Pyhäjärvi. Die Seen haben einen Niveauunterschied von 18 Metern und werden durch die 945 Meter lange Tammerkoski-Stromschnelle verbunden, die als Energiequelle genutzt wird.
